Kevin Turner, a graduate of the Global Logistics Specialist (GLS) program at CITT, contributed $5,000 toward a scholarship that will support a GLS student's career advancement and commitment to success in the trade and transportation industry.
2015 Scholarship Recipient: Dylan Espley-Jones
Dylan Espley-Jones specializes in the sales and leasing of industrial and office properties in the Mid Cities and South Bay markets. He began his career at Merrill Lynch as a financial analyst and has worked at Lee & Associates as a broker since 2010. In that time he has completed over 175 transactions with a value of over $100 million and has consistently been a top producing associate.
Mr. Espley-Jones graduated with honors from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. He also attended Oxford University for where he completed a minor in English.
Mr. Espley-Jones enrolled in the Global Logistics Specialist program at Cal State University, Long Beach because many of his real estate clients are Logistics companies and this degree has allowed him to better understand their business, speak their language, and understand how the right industrial property can add value to their respective operations.
Past Recipient: Jared Sullivan
A Southern California native, Jared earned his Bachelor's degree in History and Business Administration from North Dakota State University. Since completing his undergraduate studies, Jared has traveled extensively and worked as a teacher in South Korea and Thailand. Jared currently splits his time teaching English to international students and working for a South Korean trading company. He is currently enrolled in the Global Logistics Specialist program at CSULB with the long-term goal of combining his education, work experience, and GLS designation to transition into a successful career as a customs broker.
