CSULB Chinese Culture Festival & Confucius Institute Day 2018

The Confucius Institute at CSULB invites you to experience Chinese culture, arts, and tradition during the Chinese Culture Festival & Confucius Institute Day 2018. This celebration marks the anniversary of the first Confucius Institute in the world. Events and activities include Chinese folk arts, music played on traditional instruments, ethnic dances, and tasty Chinese snacks.
This year’s festivities also include special performances by the Xiamen University Art Troupe from China. This troupe is made up of top students majoring in dance performance. Since its founding, the troupe has been performing on stage in China and around the world, including Germany, Britain, Turkey, Thailand, Nigeria, Libya, Philippines, and the United States. They contribute to the spread of Chinese traditional culture through dance and music.
All events are free, open to the public, and held on campus.
