On July 11, 2017, CCPE marked a milestone with the “Topping Off Ceremony” for the new CCPE building was an exciting day on campus. As part of a tradition in the construction world, the 'topping off' commemorates the final piece of the structural steel being erected onto the building to complete the structure. The beam was available for everyone to sign, before being raised into place. Attendees included CSULB President Jane Close Conoley; CSULB Provost Brian Jersky; and Dr. Jeet Joshee, Associate Vice President, International Education and Global Engagement and Dean of CCPE.
