  • In-person registration begins April 1, 2019 for non-CSULB students. Continuing CSULB students register online at MyCSULB and are only required to register in-person after May 20, 2019. Instructor signature is required if the course has begun.

    Click here to download the May Intersession Registration form and register by mail, or go to the College of Professional and International Education (CPIE) registration windows located at the west end of the Foundation building (FND).     1. Build your schedule by following the steps in Add a Class or Change a Section In-Person on this page. Note: If you want to register for more than 6 units, see Prepare to Register.
    2. Your fees are due at the time of registration.
    3. If you register starting May 20, 2019, your basic registration fees will include an additional $25 non-refundable Late Registration Fee.
    4. Bring the completed form to CPIE registration windows located at the west end of the Foundation building (FND). If you have a CSULB ID card, please bring it with you at the time of registration.  

    Add a Class or Change a Section

    All adds and section changes must be completed by the last day to add for each session regardless of the class start date. Once classes begin, section changes will include a pro-rated fee and partial refund for dropped classes. Instructors of classes of short duration will only approve requests if submitted early in the session and honored by specified deadlines.

    2. Ask the class instructor to approve your request and sign your form.
    3. If the instructor approves your request, bring the completed form and your CSULB ID card to CPIE registration windows located at the west end of the Foundation building (FND).
    4. If the adjustment results in additional fees, pay your increased registration fees. See Fees and Payment.
    5. Full registration fees must always accompany the registration form. Payment may be made by check, money order, VISA/MasterCard, or American Express.

    Change Your Grading Option

    Under certain circumstances you may choose to take a class for credit/no credit (CR/NC) instead of a letter grade. You may also attend a class and receive no recorded grade (audit the class). No class that you audit will count towards your academic program.

    Request Credit/No Credit (CR/NC):

    1. Check the CSULB catalog or www.csulb.edu/enrollment for restrictions on CR/NC classes.
    2. Download a Grade Option Change Request Form and obtain appropriate signatures.
    3. Bring the completed form and your CSULB ID card to CPIE registration windows located at the west end of the Foundation building (FND) by the last day to add for each session.

    Request to Audit a Class

    1. Download the Grade Option Change Request Form and obtain appropriate signatures.
    2. Bring the completed form and your CSULB ID card to CPIE registration windows located at the west end of the Foundation building (FND) by the last day to add for each session.

    Be aware that Requests for CR/NC and Audit for short duration classes will only be approved by instructors if submitted early in the session and honored by specified deadlines.
