    In-Person Registration

    In-person registration begins April 2, 2019 for non-CSULB students. Individuals interested in taking courses during Summer Sessions may register up until June 10, 2019 (for Session I and Full Summer Session) or July 21, 2019 (for Session III). Instructor signature is required if the course has already begun and a $25 one-time non-refundable late registration fee will be charged starting the first day of the session. Approval may also be required prior to the start of class if the course has prerequisite requirements or needs department consent. If approval is required, please see the instructions on the left-side menu items for the applicable college.

    Download the Summer Sessions registration form to register in person or by mail only. You may also go to the College of Professional and International Education (CPIE) registration windows located at the west end of the Foundation building (FND) to pick one up. The registration form is intended to be printed and filled out by hand. If you need assistance completing the form please contact our Student Services Center (800) 963-2250 or stop by the CPIE registration windows.

    Fill in all items on the Summer Sessions registration form:

    1. Check the add box on the registration form.
    2. Your fees are due at the time of registration or you may sign up for a payment plan.
    3. If you register on or after May 28, 2019 (for Session I and Full Summer Session) or July 8, 2019 (for Session III), your basic registration fees will include an additional $25 non-refundable late registration fee.
    4. Bring the completed form to the CPIE registration windows located at the west end of the Foundation building (FND).

    Add a Class or Change a Section

    In order to add or drop a section without instructor consent, you must do so before the first class meeting. After the first class meeting, you are required to get instructor (and in some cases, department) approval to add or drop a course. The last days to add a course or to drop a course without a W are June 10, 2019 (for Session I and Full Summer Session), or July 21, 2019 (for Session III).

    1. Download the Summer Sessions registration form or go to the CPIE registration windows located at the west end of the Foundation building (FND) to pick one up. The registration form is intended to be printed and filled out by hand. If you need assistance completing the form please contact our Student Services Center at (800) 963-2250. 
    2. Ask the class instructor to approve your request and sign your form if the course requires consent or if you have not met prerequisites.
    3. Bring the completed form to CPIE registration windows located at the west end of the Foundation building (FND).
    4. If the adjustment results in additional fees, pay your increased registration fees. See Fees and Payment for more information regarding this.
    5. Full registration fees or an installment plan contract must always accompany the registration form. Payment may be made by check, money order, or VISA/MasterCard/American Express.
