The Lancaster University Center (LUC) is located at 45356 Division Street, Lancaster, CA 93535. It was once an exhibition hall prior to the fairgrounds being relocated. The city refurbished the space for the purpose of attracting universities to this area.
The LUC is a 25,000 square-foot facility containing eight faculty/staff offices, a reception area, an enclosed student worker area, a conference room, 11 class rooms, a science lab, one area currently used as an electrical engineering laboratory, and an engineering student collaboration area. Two of the 11 classrooms are interactive televideo classrooms, and all have full multimedia presentation capability. WiFi access for students is provided throughout the facility. Convenient free parking is available for approximately 300 vehicles. There is also a tree-covered grassy park area behind the LUC.
The technology available at the Lancaster University Center has been sufficient to allow students in mechanical and electrical engineering to complete their baccalaureate degree objectives. Both mechanical and electrical labs will also be available at Antelope Valley College.
For students traveling into the area, the LUC is a 15-minute walk from the Metrolink Lancaster Station.
