International Education & Global Engagement
  • The Office of International Students and Scholars (ISS) can help you with questions on immigration, insurance, employment authorization, and advice on living in Long Beach. ISS also provides support for visiting scholars and international faculty.

    At the International Students & Scholars office, the health and safety of our students is of top concern. In response to the University’s decision to suspend in-person courses, our center has decided to offer online advising services through Zoom.  Beginning March 16 and until further notice, drop-in advising, advising appointments, and workshops will be conducted via Zoom.

    OPT Advising
    OPT or STEM OPT status students can get advising during drop-in advising hours, or by submitting questions at the OPT Question Box.
